Job Description

The Talent Management and Learning and Development (L&D) Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing talent management and learning strategies to enhance organizational performance. Involves identifying, developing, and retaining top talent, promote a culture of continuous learning and development, and ensuring that the organization has the skills and capabilities needed to achieve its strategic objectives.


Role & responsibilities


  1. Talent Management:
  • Develop and implement talent management strategies to identify, develop, succession planning, and career development programs.
  • Identify high-potential employees aligning with senior leaders and create individual development plans to prepare them for future leadership roles.
  • Lead performance management processes, including goal setting, check-ins, performance reviews, and development plans.
  • Support succession planning and career development initiatives to build a robust leadership pipeline.
  • Conduct talent assessments and provide recommendations for talent development initiatives.
  • Partner with business leaders to understand talent needs and design programs to develop teams and employees aligning with organization goals.

2. Learning & Development:

  • Design, implement, and manage comprehensive L&D programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge to meet the needs of employees at all levels.
  • Create and manage the organization's training calendar, including leadership development programs, technical skills training, and soft skills workshops.
  • Utilize a variety of training methods, including e-learning, workshops, on-the-job training, and coaching to address different learning styles.
  • Analyze development need report from Workday, identify skills gaps and development areas, align with Mangers to identify learning courses from LDC. Learn and assign to employees.
  • Educate, deliver familiarization training sessions for PMS process goal setting, check-ins, self-assessment, talent assessment, manager review.
  • Evaluate/Measure the effectiveness of learning programs/ training programs through feedback, assessments, and continuously improve programs based on results.
  • Partner with external training providers and manage vendor relationships.

3. Leadership Development:

  • Create and implement leadership development programs to cultivate future leaders.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to emerging leaders and high-potential employees.
  • Facilitate leadership workshops and retreats/off-site training events.

4. Collaboration and Stakeholder Management :

  • Work closely with HR Team/ Partners, department heads, and senior management to understand talent and L&D needs.
  • Collaborate with regional HR teams to align local initiatives with broader company strategies.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to ensure alignment and support for talent and L&D initiatives.

5. Employee Engagement and Culture Building:

  • Develop and execute employee engagement initiatives to promote a positive work environment.
  • Plan and coordinate employee recognition programs, team-building activities, and cultural events.
  • Act as a cultural ambassador, promoting company values and promote a sense of belonging among employees.

Preferred candidate profile

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in Learning & Development
  • MBA - HR , or equivalent degree is must
  • Regional/Global work exposure
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skill
