Seeking a creative and passionate Video Editor to help us tell impactful stories that inspire change and raise awareness about our mission and programs. The Video Editor will play a crucial role in creating compelling video content that showcases the stories, achievements, and impact of Lotus Petal Foundation. This individual will be responsible for editing raw video footage into polished, engaging content for our social media channels, website, promotional campaigns, and outreach programs.
Key Responsibilities
Video Editing: Edit raw footage into high-quality video content that highlights the foundations work, including educational programs, success stories, community events, and fundraising campaigns.
Content Creation: Collaborate with the communications and marketing teams to conceptualize and produce videos that align with the foundation's goals and mission.
Storytelling: Work closely with the team to craft compelling narratives that engage the audience and effectively communicate the foundations impact on the community.
Audio and Visual Enhancements: Ensure high-quality audio and visual aspects, including sound design, voiceovers, and background music, to enhance the storytelling.
Motion Graphics and Animations: Create simple motion graphics to make videos more dynamic and engaging.
Format and Export Videos: Export videos in various formats suitable for social media, websites, and fundraising presentations, ensuring that they meet the specific requirements for each platform.
Event Coverage: Help with the filming and post-production of events, workshops, and community activities that highlight the foundations work.
Skills Required
Proficiency in Editing Software: Expertise in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
Strong Editing Skills: Ability to edit raw footage into a cohesive, engaging story with strong attention to detail and pacing.
Creative Vision: Ability to think creatively and bring new ideas to enhance video content and storytelling.
Audio Editing: Experience in syncing, mixing, and mastering audio to ensure clarity and quality in the final video.
Educational Qualifications
Bachelors Degree or equivalent (Photography/ Communication).
Experience:
Minimum 2 Years experience in video editing with a portfolio demonstrating.
