Job Description

Role & Team Key Responsibilities:

You will be part of a large centralised network automation team who is responsible for the network automation strategy and builds network automation. This is a critical part of a larger network engineering team whose top goal is automate all provisioning, tooling and change on the network.

This role will be passionate about automating the Cisco WAN using NSO and in house tooling. There is plenty of opportunity to get involved with other automation projects using other tooling!

Required Skills:

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of NSO, Orchestration, Network/WAN Design, modelling and network protocols.

Developing network automation solutions using NSO. Development of Service Packages
Develop and Design new, innovative software products, applications.
Technologies: Python, NSO, Yang, GitHub.

Also effective:

Full stack Java developer experience,
Expertise with XML, JSON, XSLT, RESTful API
Ansible

The candidate should have prior experience of delivering on sophisticated and highly scalable software projects.

The candidate should have strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations.
