Job Description

Location: Near Central Silk Board Metro Station, BTM Layout, Bangalore, (Karnataka)


Salary Range: Rs. 1,80,000 to 3,60,000 PA


Skills & Qualifications:


# Educational Qualifications:

  • Semi-qualified for CA/CMA/CS (Inter Completed) or M.Com completed (preferred).
  • Articleship / Internship should be completed

Or

  • B.com / M.Com completed and 2-5 year working experience in Auditing firm
  • Additional certifications in GST, Taxation, or Auditing will be an advantage.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Proficiency in email writing, MS Office and Tally


# Experience:

- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in GST compliance, Income Tax audits, and office visits within a CA/CMA/CS firm or Tax Consultancy company, (Female preferred)


# Technical Skills:

- Proficiency in Tally and other accounting software.

- Advanced skills in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).

- Thorough understanding of auditing procedures and compliance standards.


# Soft Skills:

- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Accounts Executive with strong expertise in GST compliance, Income Tax audits, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in auditing, proficiency in accounting software like Tally, and advanced skills in MS Office tools. The role also requires experience with GST and IT department office visits to handle compliance and assessment-related matters.

Key Responsibilities:


# 1. GST Compliance & Filings:

- Preparing and filing GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.).

- Conducting GST reconciliations (GSTR-2A/2B with purchase registers).

- Handling GST portal-related queries, notices, and amendments.

- Visiting GST offices for assessments, clarifications, and issue resolution.


# 2. Income Tax Audits:

- Preparing and managing financial records for Income Tax audits.

- Filing Tax Audit Reports (Form 3CA/3CB and Form 3CD).

- Assisting in Income Tax filings, TDS filings, and assessments.

- Visiting Income Tax offices to resolve compliance matters.


# 3. Auditing & Financial Reporting:

- Conducting internal and statutory audits in accordance with regulatory requirements.

- Preparing and analyzing financial reports, including Profit & Loss statements and Balance Sheets.

- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and statutory norms.


# 4. Accounts & Compliance:

- Managing day-to-day accounting operations using Tally.

- Ensuring accurate and timely filings for GST, TDS, and Income Tax.

- Coordinating with auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities for compliance matters.


# 5. Knowledge Management & Technical Expertise:

- Staying updated with the latest amendments in GST, Income Tax laws, and auditing practices.

- Providing guidance to team members and management on taxation and compliance updates.

- Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel for reconciliations and reporting, Word for documentation, PowerPoint for presentations).
