Role Description

This is an on-site, full-time role for an Android Developer at LogiQlink Technologies located in Indore. The Android Developer will primarily focus on native Android development while also leveraging Flutter for cross-platform applications. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in designing, developing, and maintaining mobile applications for Android devices and has transitioned to Flutter to build scalable, high-performance cross-platform apps.

The Android Developer will collaborate closely with design, development, and product teams to ensure a seamless user experience, robust app performance, and adherence to best practices in mobile development.

Qualifications Required Skills:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in native Android app development.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java programming languages.
• Hands-on experience in designing and developing complex Android applications with expertise in:
• Material Design Guidelines
• Android Components
• Android Jetpack
• MVVM architecture
• Experience in multithreaded development, including coroutines.

• Understanding of dependency injection frameworks like Dagger and Hilt.
• Expertise in the Android App Development Lifecycle, Android SDK, and best practices for Android development across different versions of Android.
• Proficiency in integrating REST APIs and third-party libraries such as Retrofit, RxJava, or OkHttp.
• Strong version control skills using Git, including branching and code review processes.
• Experience with software testing methodologies, test-driven development (TDD), and test execution.
• Knowledge of Continuous Integration systems (e.g., CircleCI, Bitbucket Pipelines, or GitHub Actions).

Flutter-Specific Skills:

1+ years of hands-on experience with Flutter for cross-platform app development.

Strong understanding of Flutters widget tree, state management solutions (e.g., Provider, Riverpod, Bloc), and Dart programming language.

Experience integrating native Android components and libraries with Flutter using Platform Channels.

Additional Skills (Preferred):

• Prior experience with BLE hardware devices and real-time communication protocols.
• Knowledge of AAOS application development.
• Knowledge of AOSP customization and ROM development.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Knowledge of iOS app development using Swift is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain native Android applications while leveraging Flutter for cross- platform solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features.
• Work with external data sources, BLE hardware devices, and APIs to create seamless integrations.
• Write unit tests to ensure code robustness, reliability, and usability.

• Debug and fix bugs to improve application performance and user experience.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency and keep up with industry trends.
• Ensure adherence to best practices in both native Android and Flutter development, maintaining high-quality code standards.
