Role: SAP FICO Business Analyst

Designation: AGM/ DGM basis experience

Responsibilities:

• Business Process Analysis: Analyze and document business requirements related to SAP FICO processes (Financial Accounting and Controlling). Gather requirements from business stakeholders (finance, accounting, and other departments) and translate them into SAP system requirements. Identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements within the SAP FICO module.
• SAP FICO Configuration & Support: Support the configuration and setup of SAP FICO, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, and Controlling (Cost Centers, Profit Centers, Internal Orders, etc.). Assist in testing SAP FICO configurations and integrations to ensure accurate data processing and financial reporting. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in SAP FICO transactions, reports, and data inconsistencies.
• System Integration & Reporting: Collaborate with technical teams to ensure the integration of SAP FICO with other modules (MM, SD, and others) and third-party systems. Provide support for SAP FICO reports, including month end and year-end financial closing, cost allocation, profit and loss, and balance sheet reports. Generate ad-hoc reports as needed to support financial analysis and decision-making.
• Training & Documentation: Provide end-user training and support for SAP FICO users within the accounts department. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including process flows, user manuals, and system configuration guides.
• System Enhancement & Upgrades: Participate in SAP FICO system enhancements, upgrades, and migrations. Analyze the impact of system updates on the existing processes and ensure smooth transition and minimal disruption to business operations.
• Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a liaison between business users, IT teams, and SAP consultants to ensure the alignment of SAP FICO functionality with business needs. Provide ongoing support to stakeholders in resolving issues and answering questions related to SAP FICO.
• Compliance & Audit: Ensure that SAP FICO processes comply with financial regulations and internal audit requirements.

Qualifications:

• The candidate should have strong understanding of SAP FICO (Financial Accounting and Controlling) modules.
• Chartered Accountant / ICWA .
• Proven experience working as a Business Analyst in a finance/accounting department with a focus on SAP FICO (Financial Accounting and Controlling).
• Strong understanding of SAP FICO modules, including integration with other SAP modules (MM, SD).
• Knowledge of financial processes, accounting principles, and internal controls.
• Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into system solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with business stakeholders and IT teams.
• SAP certification in FICO (preferred).

Skills:

• SAP FICO module expertise (GL, AR, AP, AA, CO).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
• Knowledge of finance and accounting best practices.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
• Experience with SAP enhancements, upgrades, or migrations (preferred).
