Loco - DevOps Engineer - IT Infrastructure (3-5 yrs)

What you'll do :

- Manage and configure multiple Kubernetes clusters with more than 200 pods each

- Monitor current system to anticipate any bottleneck while scaling and proactively detect system failures

- Analyze, design and build tools and infrastructure frameworks that enable fast moving product engineers to improve the quality and reliability of their services.

- Continuously improve the infrastructure and maintain security, cost and scalability across multiple services which include video streaming stack, real-time chat stack and data analytics pipelines

- Build alerting systems to detect system failure early, accurately and long with proper context so that developers can fix problems quickly.

- Scaling and improving ELK stack which has more than 40 logstash server

- Managing streaming and chat infra withmore than 400 live streams with some having ACU of 150K

- Build alerting system which takes input from ELK, Cloudwatch, and Prometheus system

- Manage 25 AWS RDS instances which support multiple services.

- Work on making transport infrastructure highly scalable, reliable, and fault-tolerant using Containers orchestration, API gateways, CI/CD components & Observability stacks.

- Build logging platforms which scale and are easy to use

- Build and maintain a personal, dev, staging environment which increases developer's speed.

- Manage large Kubenetes clusters with over hundreds of PODS in a secure manner using the latest version of Kubernetes

- Build WAF configuration various services.

- Support and troubleshoot product and infrastructure issues in production environments.

- Help automate operations and processes.

What you'll need :

- You need more than 3 years experience in managing infrastructure.

- You should be comfortable writing code in bash, python and GO.

- Have introductory knowledge about Kubernetes. If you have worked with a large Kubernetes cluster before, that will be a bonus.

- Good knowledge about networks, dns systems.

- Basic understanding of Postgres's various monitoring and configuration parameters.

- Good knowledge about various programming concepts in any language.

- Basic understanding about different concepts in distributed systems. Eventual consistency, Load-balancing algorithm.

- Ability to learn new concepts and implement them in production quickly.

- Ability to communicate properly and put across your point of view.
