Mechanical Design Engineer

Radoratory Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to optimize assembly efficiency and manufacturability of mechanical components and systems, with a primary focus on gantry systems, miniature models, and transmission drives. Proficiency in SolidWorks software is essential for 3D modeling, simulation, and design documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop mechanical components with a strong emphasis on Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) principles.

Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles in accordance with ASME Y14.5-2004 standards.

Optimize gantry systems and transmission drives, with emphasis on standard motion mechanisms, to enhance performance and reliability.

Generate detailed designs for mechanical parts ensuring reliability and functionality.

Utilize SolidWorks for 3D modeling and simulation to iterate and refine designs.

Innovate and develop automation products aimed at enhancing overall system performance.

Conduct thorough conventional design validation and optimization calculations to ensure design integrity and efficiency.

Desired profile of the candidate

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.Tech) with 4-8 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree (M.E./M.Tech) with 4+ years of experience in mechanical design.

Expertise in Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA), Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) per ASME Y14.5-2004, and proficiency in SolidWorks software.

Strong background in designing and optimizing gantry systems and transmission drives.

Experience working with moving parts and automation products is highly desirable.

Proficient in conventional mechanical design calculations and analysis methods.

Candidates with a Master's degree (M.E./M.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering and specialized knowledge are encouraged to apply.

Experience in stress and vibration analysis is a plus.
