Work closely with a team of developers on US mortgage-related applications
Work cross-functionally with different internal teams and gather business requirements.
Understand the end-use of the concepts and work backward to create a functionally sound and dependable design that does justice to the core concepts.
Identify, define, and document business needs and objectives, current operational procedures, problems, input and output requirements, and levels of systems access.
Conducting research on the domain and extracting useful information to aid the development team in creating business solutions for the process.
Assess and document processes to help design the target state and shape how it can be achieved using technology.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Experience in Software Development Life cycle (SDLC) methodologies, Waterfall, and Agile methodology for Project Management is preferred.
Experience with Agile principles, Jira & Confluence tools will be an added advantage.
Support business and IT teams, including requirements gathering and project management for new development and integration projects with little or no direction.
Ability to think out of the box and envision solutions for complex business requirements from cross-functional teams.
Highly disciplined, self-driven, and delivery-focused individual who can think rationally and deliver results in a high-paced environment.
Should possess the ability to think differently and produce unique results.
Should not be intimidated by complex processes and high pressures of the role.
Education and Experience:
2-6 years as a Business Analyst in Financial Services (US mortgage experience preferred)
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, engineering, or other related fields.
