SAP Advanced Business Application Programming Developer - E2E Implementation (4-8 yrs)

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP ABAP Technical Consultant to join our dynamic team in Hyderabad.

The ideal candidate will have 4-8 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development and a strong technical foundation.

This role involves working on challenging SAP implementations, enhancements, and support projects, delivering high-quality solutions that align with business requirements.

You will be a key contributor to the success of our SAP projects, working closely with functional consultants, business users, and other team members to ensure timely and effective project delivery.

Responsibilities :

ABAP Development :

- Design, develop, test, and implement custom SAP ABAP solutions, including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms (RICEFW).

- Develop and maintain various ABAP objects such as ALV reports, BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, SmartForms, and SAP Scripts.

SAP Enhancements :

- Implement enhancements using modern techniques like BADI, enhancement frameworks, and implicit/explicit enhancements.

- Analyze and optimize the performance of existing ABAP programs.

Integration Support :

- Develop and maintain integrations between SAP and other third-party systems.

- Work with SAP PI/PO and APIs as required.

Technical Support & Debugging :

- Debug and resolve issues in standard SAP programs and custom developments.

- Provide technical support and expertise during SAP project implementations and post-go-live phases.

Collaboration :

- Work closely with functional consultants to understand business processes and translate them into technical requirements.

- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams for successful project delivery.

Documentation :

- Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical specifications, test cases, and user manuals for developed solutions.

- Adhere to proper version control procedures for all developed objects.

Qualifications :

- 4-8 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.

- Strong understanding of ABAP programming concepts, data dictionary objects, and SAP modules (e.g , SD, MM, FI, CO).

- Experience with various ABAP objects such as reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms (RICEFW).

- Experience with SAP enhancements, including BADI, enhancement frameworks, and implicit/explicit enhancements.

- Experience with SAP PI/PO or other integration technologies is a plus.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Experience in Agile development methodologies is preferred.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
