Job Description
About the Role: Liminal Custody is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Backend Developer with expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, Express.js, and MySQL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing backend services, APIs, and databases for our web applications
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop robust, scalable, and high-performance RESTful APIs using Node.js, TypeScript, and Express.js .
- Implement and maintain MySQL databases, ensuring efficient data structures and query optimization .
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
- Optimize application performance, ensuring fast response times and minimal downtime.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues across the backend stack.
- Implement security best practices, including authentication, authorization, and data protection.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure seamless API integration.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Bachelors degree with 3+ years of experience in backend Development.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js .
- Experience with Express.js and building RESTful APIs.
- Proficiency in MySQL including indexing, and query optimization.
- Strong knowledge of authentication authorization mechanisms (JWT, OAuth, etc. ).
- Proficiency with Git version control and working in an Agile environment.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and how to consume them.
- Good to have basic blockchain workflow, cryptography, Ethereum knowledge etc.
