- As a Senior Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by enabling Govt. /PSU accounts in North and East India to achieve their digital transformation goals using Liferay's solutions.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Achieve and exceed targets for new and growth Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR).
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to deal closure.
- Build a deep understanding of clients' businesses, priorities, and decision-making processes.
- Identify and acquire new customers, securing contracts that meet sales targets.
- Conduct prospecting through direct methods (e. , calling, face-to-face meetings) and indirect methods (e. , networking).
- Consult with prospects to understand their business challenges and present tailored solutions with cost-benefit analyses.
- Maintain domain knowledge to engage in meaningful discussions with prospects.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with technical teams, product specialists, and solution sales leads to meet customer requirements.
- Build and strengthen relationships with channel partners, system integrators, and consultants to deliver comprehensive solutions.
- Work closely with marketing and vertical pod resources to execute lead generation campaigns.
- Create and deliver impactful presentations for senior managers and decision-makers.
- Prepare and present professional proposals and responses to RFPs/RFIs.
- Identify and address business pain points, aligning them with Liferay's solutions.
- Develop and maintain key account plans to identify opportunities, strategic motivators, and stakeholders, following corporate sales methodologies (e. , Miller Heiman).
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports on expected volumes.
- Represent Liferay positively in the marketplace through conduct, social media presence, and - professional networking.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in enterprise-level software solution sales (e. , Content Management, ERP, CRM, eBusiness, eCommerce) targeting Govt. /PSU accounts.
- Proven ability to prospect at senior levels, self-generate leads, and leverage social selling strategies.
- Strong client relationship management skills with the ability to address business challenges effectively.
- Exceptional prioritization, time management, and organizational skills.
- Established relationships with system integrators, OEMs, consultants, and other ecosystem players.
- A hunter mentality with a focus on driving new business.
- Expertise in solution selling with a value and ROI-driven approach.
- Foundational knowledge of technical environments relevant to Liferay's products and IT operations.
- Strong presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time
