Role & responsibilities

1. Pharmacist responsible for storage, batch wise billing and an error free dispensing with proper labelling

2. Raise the indents to the pharmacy store based on the consumption as well as needs

3. Prepare Goods Receipt Note for the materials received in Invoice.

4. On Receipt of the material from vendor, the goods are checked for the right quality / quantity / Exp. Dt/ Batch no. & Security Check and then the materials are received in the Pharmacy.

5. Prepare schedule register with the given format and to be signed on daily basis wherever applicable

6. Shall do the physical verification of assigned racks every week and high value materials on daily basis

7. Should remove the short expiry of their assigned racks prior to six months

8. Proper handing over from shift to shift

9. Responsible for all the activities of the Pharmacy Aid

10. Any other responsibility as deemed fit from time to time by the reporting authority
