The Opportunity:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Quality Assurance Engineer I to join our growing team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products through thorough testing, automation development, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Youll closely collaborate with our development team to detect bugs, troubleshoot issues, and uphold the highest standards of quality and reliability in our products.
Responsibilities:
- Execute test cases and create detailed, comprehensive test plans
- Design, develop, and implement automation scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks
- Ability to build UI and backend automation frameworks
- Perform various types of testing including functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing
- Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs
- Collaborate with developers to resolve issues and retest fixed bugs
- Assist in the development and maintenance of QA metrics and reports
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies
- Participate in code reviews of test automation scripts
- Work closely with the development team to understand product requirements and create test scenarios
- Help maintain the test environment and assist with lab operations when necessary
- Stay updated with new testing tools, technologies, and best practices
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 4-6 years of experience in software quality assurance or testing
- Advanced knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Familiarity with programming/scripting languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript
- Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and quality assurance practices
- Advanced experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG)
- Knowledge of bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies

- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Passion for ensuring software quality and improving user experience
