Planning Engineer

Desired Qualification :

• BE (Civil) with Minimum of 4-8 years planning experience in Marine projects.

Duties and Responsibilities

• study of drawings
• To attend to client modifications.
• submission of drawings for statutory approval
• zero costing for projects.
• system processing through ERP documentation.
• To provide the sequence of work with Work Break Down Structure (WBS).
• To create the information required by first detailing the activities involved in the Project, fitting those in the timelines, Calculating the materials, manpower and machinery needed to execute these activities in the time frame decided.
• To Prepare Project Schedule (Tools Used: Primavera, MS Project, etc.,) covering the entire scope and within defined timelines.
• To calculate Optimal Material requirement, Manpower Requirement & Machinery Requirement.
• To plan for the budget required for the project and create various budget heads to document and monitor the expenses.
• To develop and maintain streamlined and comprehensive planning, forecasting and budgeting processes.
• To work closely with Senior management to develop strategic plans for growth, optimize the effectiveness and efficiency of operations.
• To track staffing requirements, hiring new employees as and when needed.
• To provide Dashboard Report on all Projects.
