We are seeking an experienced SAS IFRS 17 Consultant to support the implementation, configuration, and optimization of IFRS 17 solutions using SAS. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAS technologies, financial reporting, actuarial modeling, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities: Implement and configure SAS IFRS 17 solution, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Develop and optimize data models, risk analytics, and actuarial calculations using SAS Base, SAS DI Studio, SAS VA, and SAS Risk Stratum. Work closely with finance, actuarial, and IT teams to design ETL workflows for IFRS 17 reporting. Perform data validation, transformation, and reconciliation for IFRS 17 processes. Ensure seamless integration of SAS IFRS 17 with general ledger, actuarial, and risk systems. Conduct UAT, performance testing, and system optimization to enhance reporting accuracy. Provide technical guidance and support for IFRS 17 compliance, automation, and process improvements. Create documentation, training materials, and knowledge-sharing sessions for business users.
Required Skills & Qualifications: 5-10 years of experience in SAS implementation, data management, and financial reporting. Expertise in SAS Base, SAS DI Studio, SAS VA, SAS Risk Stratum, and SAS IFRS 17 solution. Strong knowledge of IFRS 17 standards, insurance risk modeling, and financial accounting. Experience with data extraction, transformation, and reconciliation from multiple sources. Familiarity with actuarial models, risk analytics, and regulatory frameworks. Proficiency in SQL, data warehousing, and ETL processing. Experience in cloud-based SAS environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus. Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Certifications: SAS Certified Specialist (SAS Base, Advanced, or Risk Solutions) IFRS 17 Certification or Finance-related credentials
