Install, configure, and maintain Informatica environments, including PowerCenter (PC), Data Quality (IDQ), and Master Data Management (MDM). Manage Informatica platform upgrades, patches, and performance tuning to ensure optimal system performance. Administer user access, roles, and security policies within Informatica applications. Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to Informatica workflows, jobs, and integrations. Work closely with development and data teams to optimize ETL processes and improve data quality. Perform capacity planning, backup, and recovery strategies for Informatica environments. Automate administrative tasks and enhance operational efficiency using scripts and scheduling tools. Collaborate with business teams to support data integration and governance initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications: 2-5 years of hands-on experience in Informatica Administration with expertise in PowerCenter (PC), Data Quality (IDQ), and MDM. Strong knowledge of Informatica repository management, services configuration, and metadata management. Experience in installation, upgrades, and troubleshooting of Informatica tools. Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments, shell scripting, and database connectivity (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.). Understanding of performance tuning, job scheduling (Autosys, Control-M), and security configurations. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Preferred Skills: Experience with cloud-based Informatica solutions (IICS, Informatica on AWS/Azure/GCP). Knowledge of data governance, master data management, and enterprise data integration concepts. Exposure to Big Data and data lake integration using Informatica.
