Specialist - Hybris Development

Role & responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Hybris Developer with expertise in SAP Commerce Cloud to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing e-commerce solutions using SAP Commerce Cloud. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-performing, and user-centric solutions.

• Design, develop, and implement e-commerce solutions using SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris).
• Customize and extend Hybris modules such as Product Catalog, Order Management, and Promotions Engine.
• Build and enhance integration solutions with third-party systems like payment gateways, CRM, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP S/4HANA).
• Ensure performance optimization, scalability, and maintainability of the e-commerce platform.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers, business analysts, and other developers to align with business requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
• Stay updated with the latest SAP Commerce Cloud features, tools, and technologies.

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience with Spartacus (Angular-based storefront for SAP Commerce).
• Knowledge of SAP integrations such as SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration).
• Understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular/React).
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• 5-8 years of experience working with SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris).
• Proficiency in Java/J2EE, Spring Framework, and RESTful web services.
• Strong understanding of Hybris extensions, backoffice customization, and accelerators.
• Experience with database technologies like MySQL, Oracle, or SAP HANA.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Maven) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Hands-on experience with microservices and APIs.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
