Reconciliation Executive (Retail Store Sales Reco)

Job Role:

The Sales Reconciliation Executive will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of sales data across all 200+ outlets. This role involves analyzing, reconciling, and reporting daily sales transactions while coordinating with multiple teams to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Data Reconciliation:

• Verify and reconcile daily sales data across all outlets with POS system reports and bank statements.
• Ensure discrepancies in sales, payments, and adjustments are identified and resolved promptly.

Cash and Payment Tracking:

• Monitor cash collections and deposit confirmations from outlets.
• Reconcile card payments, UPI transactions, and other digital payment modes.

Reporting and Analysis:

• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly sales reconciliation reports.
• Provide actionable insights and highlight variances to management

Compliance and Documentation:

• Maintain records of sales, reconciliations, and adjustments for audit purposes.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.

Collaboration:

• Coordinate with outlet managers, finance, and IT teams for data validation.
• Support the finance team in month-end and year-end closing activities.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in commerce, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in sales reconciliation or a similar role, preferably in the QSR or retail industry.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems).
• Knowledge of POS systems and digital payment platforms is an advantage.
