Job Description

Summary:

The Management Consultants are responsible for activities related to advising external clients on improving our results across a variety of fields, such as information technology (IT) consulting, data analytics consulting and strategy consulting. Consultant performance is measured by use rates which is a percentage of billable hours out of total working hours. Consult with clients on main our goals related to innovation, strategy, and product development. Improve clients product development processes and enterprise technologies. Contribute to the solution design of large business and technical problems, assist with organizational change management efforts to help clients achieve a successful implementation of their new tools.

As a Consultant, you will work with our clients in the Retail, Consumer Goods, Manufacturing, Life Sciences and High-Tech industries, helping their efforts to solve challenging issues. You will gain client-facing experience - traveling to client sites, assuming leadership roles among their team, developing meaningful client deliverables and experiencing Kalypsos proud entrepreneurial and familial culture first-hand. The learning curve can be steep but the work will help you develop a broad set of skills and allow you to explore areas that are of your interest

You will report to APIC LEAD, DSB

Your Responsibilities:

• Consult with Fortune 1000 clients on main our goals related to innovation, strategy and product development
• Increase clients new product development processes and deploy supportive technologies like IOT, Advanced Analytics, Industry 4.0, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Cloud and Project Portfolio Management (PPM)
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions
• Develop recommendations for process changes and organizational design
• Design and implement disruptive digital technologies like Internet of Things, Machine Learning, and Augmented Reality to help clients guide business model improvement, allow new customer experiences and build new internal capabilities

Consulting:

• Integrate analytical results and recommendations into solution for client
• Try to understand cultural norms/communication styles of team members and use diverse styles on the project
• Provide mentorship and guidance to the team
• Lead the team and ensure excellence in delivery and project deadlines
• Take leadership role in driving internal programmes and passion projects that improve us, strengthen our community and better our people
• collaborate with clients, peers, and managers

The Essentials - You Will Have:

• Undergraduate Degree in Business, Engineering, or Retail Management
• Masters degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Business or Economics
• Academic track record
• 4 or more years of experience
• Experience with Process and Discrete Manufacturing processes, functions and challenges, including mapping value streams and identifying digital opportunities. Analyse and increase manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
• Experience with Industry 4.0 technologies (PLM, Industrial Internet of Things, AI, ML, Augmented Decision Systems like AR/VR, Digital Twins)
• Define overall Industry 4.0 strategy including creation of use cases and Business cases.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions. Develop use cases, functional requirements, and test cases for solutions applicable across the value chain.
• Provide training and support to client teams for successful adoption of new technologies and processes.
• Assist practice Managers/Directors in developing and delivering proposals.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

• Experience in High-Tech and Industrial Manufacturing industries
• Experience gathering our requirements and translating them to the technical team.
• Willing to Travel up to 80% in India, some international travel too
