Job Title: Business Development Manager - Collections

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the growth of our collections business by acquiring new portfolios and establishing strong relationships with prospective clients. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the collections industry, a strong network, and the ability to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Portfolio Acquisition: Identify and acquire new collections portfolios through strategic outreach, negotiations, and partnerships with prospective clients.
• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, understanding their needs and aligning our services to meet their objectives.
• Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify potential clients and trends in the collections industry, and develop targeted strategies to approach these opportunities.
• Sales and Negotiation: Lead the sales process from initial contact to contract signing, including presentations, proposal development, and negotiations.
• Networking: Actively participate in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance the companys visibility and reputation in the market.
• Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including Operations, Finance, and Legal, to ensure smooth onboarding and management of new portfolios.
• Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on sales performance, market conditions, and client feedback, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve targets.
• Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development and execution of the business development strategy to support the company’s growth objectives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
• Proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role within the collections industry.
• Strong understanding of collections processes, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse client base.
• Self-motivated with a results-driven approach and a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
