Payroll Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Payroll Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing the payroll operations across multiple countries, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and delivering accurate and timely payroll services.

Key Responsibilities:

Payroll Processing:

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing for India and US employees.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll, including salary, benefits, bonuses, and deductions.
• Reconcile payroll reports and address discrepancies promptly.

Compliance and Regulations:

• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal payroll laws and regulations in each country.
• Stay updated with changes in payroll laws and regulations and implement necessary adjustments.
• Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies as required.

Systems and Reporting:

• Maintain and update payroll systems and records.
• Generate and distribute payroll reports to relevant stakeholders.
• Collaborate with IT and HR teams to optimize payroll processes and systems.

Employee Relations:

• Address and resolve payroll-related queries from employees.
• Provide support and guidance on payroll policies and procedures.
• Conduct payroll training sessions for HR and other relevant staff.

Financial Management:

• Assist in budget preparation and forecasting related to payroll costs.
• Ensure accurate payroll accounting and reporting.
• Coordinate with finance teams for payroll funding and cash flow management.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or similar certification is a plus.

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in global payroll processing.
• Familiarity with various payroll software and systems.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of payroll laws and regulations across multiple countries.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
• Proficient in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
