Legal Head

Job Summary:

The Head of Legal will lead the legal function of the organization, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, managing legal risks, and providing strategic legal guidance to the leadership team. This role requires a seasoned legal professional with strong leadership skills, expertise in corporate law, and the ability to navigate complex legal challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and oversee the companys legal strategy to minimize risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide legal advice and support on a wide range of corporate, commercial, and compliance matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
• Ensure compliance with local, national, and international laws, including corporate governance, labor laws, and industry regulations.
• Manage litigation, disputes, and legal proceedings, liaising with external legal counsel when necessary.
• Advise senior management and the Board on legal and regulatory issues, ensuring informed decision-making.
• Oversee intellectual property protection, data privacy, and cyber security compliance.
• Lead and mentor the legal team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
• Stay updated on emerging legal trends and best practices relevant to the industry.
• Represent the company in legal matters, negotiations, and regulatory interactions.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Law (LL.B/LL.M).
