Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Media Planning & Strategy Development
    • Develop and execute media strategies for the personal care brand, targeting key consumer segments through digital, TV, print, social media, influencer marketing, and traditional advertising channels.
    • Analyze customer demographics, psychographics, and behavior to identify target audiences and create tailored media plans that align with the brands values and messaging.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product marketing, creative, and sales, to ensure media strategies are integrated with overall brand goals and campaigns.
  2. Campaign Execution & Optimization
    • Manage and execute media buys, ensuring campaigns are launched on time and within budget.
    • Continuously monitor campaign performance, adjusting strategies to optimize reach, engagement, and ROI.
    • Leverage both traditional and digital media platforms to maximize the impact of media spends, using tools such as programmatic advertising and social media platforms.
    • Ensure campaigns maintain consistency across all touchpoints and reflect the unique selling propositions of the personal care brand.
  3. Budget Management & Cost Optimization
    • Manage media budget allocation effectively, ensuring maximum exposure within budget constraints while achieving campaign objectives.
    • Negotiate rates and placements with media partners and vendors to ensure competitive pricing and value-added benefits.
    • Continuously track and analyze media spend, recommending adjustments to optimize the effectiveness of advertising spend.
  4. Market Research & Consumer Insights
    • Conduct market research to understand consumer trends, competitors strategies, and the latest developments in the personal care industry.
    • Stay up-to-date on emerging media platforms, new advertising technologies, and the latest trends in the personal care sector.
    • Utilize consumer insights and research data to create compelling, relevant, and effective media strategies that resonate with the target audience.
  5. Analytics & Reporting
    • Analyze campaign performance data, generating insights and actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.
    • Provide regular reports to stakeholders, showcasing campaign performance, learnings, and ROI.
    • Perform post-campaign analysis to assess the effectiveness of media strategies, adjusting future plans based on findings.
  6. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
    • Collaborate with internal teams, including brand managers, creative, and digital marketing, to ensure alignment of media strategies with overall business goals.
    • Build strong relationships with media partners, influencers, and content creators in the personal care space to enhance brand exposure.
    • Communicate effectively with senior leadership, providing updates on key media initiatives, performance metrics, and campaign insights.

  • Skills:
    • Strong understanding of media planning and buying across multiple channels (digital, social media, TV, print, influencers, etc.).
    • Experience with digital marketing tools, analytics platforms (Google Analytics, social media insights), and media planning tools (Nielsen, comScore, etc.).
    • Ability to analyze data and transform insights into actionable media strategies.
    • In-depth knowledge of the personal care market, including consumer behavior, trends, and key competitors.
    • Creative and strategic mindset with an emphasis on results.
