EHS - Site Head - API

Role & responsibilities

• Implementing of IMS (14K&45K) & ESG, conducting the EHS trainings, Campaigns & Events. Monitoring and Interpret EHS regulations.
• In line with Organization SDG goals & providing data to 3rd party assistor viz., EcoVadis, EcoDesk, Global Reporting Initiative (GRI)& M2030
• Responsible Procurement requirements and PSCI standards.
• Zero Break downs & smooth operation of ZLD equipments viz. MEE, BIO, RO. Preventing pollutants by whares methods like LDR, AMR, PEC & PNEC study.
• Ensuring General Safety viz., PTW, SLW, SOI, EOI, Industrial Hygiene & Zero incident/accidents, EHS Change Control review & signoff & etc.,
• Prepare MSDS for new & change of products. SOP preparation for new activities as per IMS guidelines
• MSI (My Safety Index) program implementation at shopfloor. • EHS awareness campaigns conducted monthly viz. static electricity & etc.,
• Daily monitoring of ZLD chemical parameters to resolve the problems.
• Robust knowledge on STP, ROCHEM RO, BIO, MEEs and ATFDs.
• Segregation of LTDS & HTDS effluent as per organization standards.
• Observation of Unsafe Actions & Unsafe Conditions in work area
• Encouraging the ground level employees on Safety, Study compatibility.
• Case studies on Accidents, Static electricity prevention in the process area.
• Trainings and awareness on accidents to the employees, Internal audits.
• Checking status of fire extinguishers periodically, PTW system.
• Operational control procedure (OCP) of equipment’s and chemicals.
