Senior Engineer- Manufacturing Engineering

Job Location: Orgadam, Chennai

Role & responsibilities:

• Should have good knowledge on Laser & CMT Welding Process.
• Working experience on Robotics, IoT4.0, MES, Vision Systems.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Catia, PLC, HMI, Scada, Servo Presses & RFID Programmings.
• Able to assess the new investment and process requirements for new business of existing product and new product.
• Hands on experience on Control systems, Machine Programming, industry 4.0, artificial intelligence & Automation
• Responsible for performing Root cause analysis
• Knowledge of interface to upper-level systems.
• Development new equipment as per standards, install, conduct runoff trials, monitor results, handover.
• Problem solving techniques such as DMAIC, 5W, 8D.
• Continuous improvement projects through Lean manufacturing techniques to maximize yield, capacity & capability.
• Develop and modify line layouts, including material flow, ergonomics & utilizing lean manufacturing best practices.
• Researching & Implementing opportunities to make processes more efficient.
• Should be able to prepare the budget & forecast.
• Understand Process, Making PFMEA, PFC, Poke yoke Human Error Prevention
