LeanResearch - Senior Associate - Investment Banking & Financial Modeling (4-8 yrs)

We are seeking a Senior Associate with more than 4 years of experience in investment banking, finance, or private equity, preferably with buy-side exposure. This role involves conducting detailed financial analysis, market research, and building complex financial models. The Associate will work closely with our team to evaluate operating businesses, develop investment theses, and support deal structuring and due diligence. Ideal candidates are highly analytical, detail-oriented, and adept in financial modeling.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field from a top-tier university

- 4-5 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or a highly quantitative role

- Strong financial modeling and valuation skills, with experience in market research and analyzing businesses

- Proficiency in MS Excel, financial databases, and analytical tools

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly present findings and insights to senior stakeholders

- High level of attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines

Bonus Points:

- Experience on the buy-side or exposure to investment decision-making processes

- Advanced quantitative skills with a passion for technical modeling and data analysis

- CFA or similar financial certifications

- Prior work with international investment banks or private equity firms

- Knowledge of specific industries, such as technology, healthcare, or consumer services, would be advantageous
