Shift Engineer - Electrical

Role & responsibilities

• Should have experience in Electrical Utility of a plant preferable 220KV, 33KV, Switch Yard & Transmission, GIS Substation exposure.
• Should have experience on Electrical utility equipments like Power transformers, H.T panels, L.T panels, Distribution panels, VCB’s, ACB’s, Protection Relay, HT Cables, Meters & Metering, CT/PT and other Sensors.
• Energy Management System (SCADA Operations)
• PLC (Mitsubishi) Programming Knowledge
• Should have experience of Motor control systems, VFD’s, RLC circuits. Should be able to read SLD of electrical system.
• Should have basic idea of other important part of Utilities.
• Should have idea of Utility KPIs, energy conservation, IMS documents used in Utility area.
• Basic idea of 5S, Kaizens, Improvement, Why- Why analysis.
• Should work under customer pressure.
• Should know the maintenance basic systems like PM, PdM & BD.
• Should know safety aspects of site and safety work rules during maintenance operation.
