Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and Development:
• Design electrical systems, circuits, and components for new products or systems.
• Develop and test prototypes for electrical systems and components to ensure they meet functional requirements.
2. System Analysis & Testing:
• Conduct electrical system simulations to evaluate performance, safety, and efficiency.
• Perform electrical testing and troubleshoot to identify and resolve any issues with circuits, equipment, or systems.
• Ensure that all electrical systems comply with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
3. Project Management:
• Oversee electrical projects from conception through to completion.
• Manage resources, budgets, and schedules to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Coordinate with other engineers and technical teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical components with mechanical or software systems.
4. Maintenance & Upgrades:
• Design and implement maintenance procedures for electrical systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Evaluate existing electrical infrastructure and recommend improvements or upgrades to enhance system reliability and efficiency.
5. Collaboration & Consultation:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as mechanical, civil, and software engineers, to design integrated systems.
• Provide technical support and guidance to other departments, contractors, or clients regarding electrical systems.
6. Compliance & Safety:
• Ensure that all electrical designs and installations comply with safety standards, regulations, and industry codes.
• Perform risk assessments and safety audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards in electrical systems.
• Document all design specifications, system components, and test results for compliance purposes.
7. Research & Innovation:
• Stay up to date with the latest developments in electrical engineering and related technologies.
• Research and integrate innovative technologies, such as renewable energy systems, energy-efficient solutions, and smart grid technologies, into new designs.
8. Documentation & Reporting:
• Prepare detailed technical reports, project plans, and documentation to communicate designs and test results.
• Maintain records of all electrical engineering work, including calculations, revisions, and maintenance logs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree may be preferred in certain positions).
• Certification (e.g., Licensed Professional Engineer, PMP) may be required for senior positions or specific industries.
• Solid understanding of electrical systems, circuits, and power generation.

Experience:

• Prior experience in electrical department.
• Experience in managing or working on multi-disciplinary projects is a plus.
• Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and standards.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of electrical circuits, systems, and equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Proficiency in engineering tools.
• Strong communication skills for reporting and collaborating with diverse teams.
