Job Description

B.E./ B.Tech or Masters in Civil with Renewables experience
10 - 12 years experience in Solar PV, Wind, or the renewable industry.
Working experience on grading design, erosion control design, hydrologic/hydraulic modelling, stormwater management systems, and permitting.
Relevant work experience in solar and energy storage a strong asset.
Familiar with software packages such as Excel, AutoCAD Civil 3D, PVcase, FLO-2D, and knowledge of programming languages such as MATLAB will be an added advantage.
Review experience with the design and implementation of Erosion, Sedimentation, and Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP).
Ability to review and provide inputs for topographical and feature surveys, stormwater management plans, general arrangement drawings, proposed roadways layout drawings, drainage layout drawings (including finished surface levels), bulk earthworks layout drawings, vehicle turning layout drawings, finished surface level models (12D format or equivalent), bulk earthworks models illustrating cut & fill volumes (12D format), and existing external road upgrade drawings.
Ability to provide inputs for early phase concept structural and foundation sketches for major/critical structures and buildings.
Strong understanding of building and construction codes, standards, and regulations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to and interact with clients, consultants, regulatory agencies, and review professionals. Ability to work with international teams a plus.
Strong attention to detail, analytical and troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to quality.
Ability to review documents (drawings, reports, proposals, etc.) to a high standard from a technical, commercial, and quality point of view, and provide feedback to authors to promote continuous improvement.
Self-starter who can work independently and with team members.
EPC and Hydrology experience a plus.

Lead and support the Civil team to ensure timely and budget-compliant project delivery.
Ability to work as a part of Integrated team with global lead offices.
Provide technical assistance across the business and perform foundation sizing and calculations for renewable industry structures (Solar PV, Wind Turbines, BESS, Power to X etc)
Attend site meetings, surveys, and quality inspections.
Mentor team members to enhance performance and capability.
Lead the conceptual design and development of civil and site components for renewable energy projects.
Create comprehensive civil plans, calculations, reports, and specifications.
Conduct hydraulics and hydrology modelling, stormwater collection systems modelling, and design.
Identify technical risks at all stages of development.
Review client-provided data and assess pre-construction conditions.
Evaluate potential site constraints and determine impacts on civil design and layout.
Collaborate with project management on permitting efforts.
Provide QA/QC for design work and act as owner s engineer to ensure compliance with best practices and regulations.
Support business development efforts, including preparation of proposals and client interaction.
Optimize project designs using internal tools and industry standards.
Ensure health, safety, and environmental considerations are integral to project delivery.
Work closely with the delivery team to communicate issues during design and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
Assist with work planning and staffing.
