Job Title: Live Person Chatbot Lead Developer

Job Overview:

We are looking for a LivePerson Chatbot Lead Developer to join our innovative team and lead the development, design, and deployment of conversational AI solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in the LivePerson platform, leadership experience, and a strong technical background in AI, NLP, and chatbot development. You will lead a team of developers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive the strategy for chatbot implementation to enhance customer engagement and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

l Lead Chatbot Development Projects: Oversee the end-to-end development of chatbots on the LivePerson platform, ensuring high-quality, efficient, and scalable solutions that align with business objectives.

l Technical Leadership: Provide guidance, mentorship, and technical leadership to a team of chatbot developers, ensuring that best practices, coding standards, and proper development processes are followed.

l Platform Expertise: Design, implement, and optimize chatbot architectures using LivePerson and related tools (e.g., LiveEngage, Conversational Cloud, LivePerson Automation).

l Integrate AI and NLP: Utilize AI, machine learning, and Natural Language Processing (NLP) to improve chatbot accuracy, performance, and user interaction.

l Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to define chatbot requirements and ensure bots meet user needs and business goals.

l Optimizing Chatbot Experience: Continuously analyze chatbot performance metrics (e.g., conversion rates, user satisfaction) to identify areas for improvement and implement optimizations.

l Advanced Automation: Implement advanced automation features, including intelligent routing, dynamic content delivery, and system integrations to create seamless workflows for customers.

l Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage data analytics to measure chatbot performance and identify trends, providing insights to improve conversation flows and enhance customer engagement.

l Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement of the chatbot development process, from ideation and prototyping to testing, deployment, and maintenance.

l Training & Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for chatbot development processes, workflows, and configurations. Lead training sessions for team members and stakeholders on new features and best practices.

l Stay Current with Trends: Keep up with the latest trends in AI, NLP, and chatbot development, bringing fresh ideas and solutions to the team and organization.

Qualifications:

l 5+ years of hands-on experience in chatbot development, with at least 3 years of experience working with the LivePerson platform (e.g., LiveEngage, Conversational Cloud, AI capabilities).

l Proven track record in AI-powered chatbot design and deployment, using Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Machine Learning techniques.

l Expertise in JavaScript, Node.js, Python, or other relevant programming languages for backend chatbot development.

l Strong knowledge of API integrations, webhooks, and cloud services such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.

l Proficient in developing chatbot conversation flows, training data, and intent management.

l Experience in building complex chatbot solutions that integrate with third-party systems (e.g., CRMs, ERPs, knowledge bases).

l Leadership experience managing teams and projects, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
