Job Description
- Apply and adhere to published CAD standards for engineering drawings to produce high quality deliverables.
- Maintain status of assigned tasks on team schedule.
- Coordinate with engineers and other CAD team members for drafting works of each project task assigned.
- Self-check for technical correctness and timely delivery of the drawings in any drafting and modelling software
- Assist the project team towards developing/implementing drafting standards.
- Assist in improving the efficiency and productivity of the drafting team.
- Communicates the training and development needs to his supervisor.
- Proper Communication with internal and external teams
- Exercises self-discipline and work ethics
Desirable criteria :
- B. Tech (Civil) or Diploma in Civil Engineering and/or minimum 2 years NCVT Certificate in Draughtsman Civil with Minimum 14 years of professional working experience in Highway/Railway Bridges or Metro Rail / Tunnel project
- Working experience in different types of highway/railway bridge structurers (sub-structure & superstructure) and/or Marine structures outline drawings and reinforcement detailing is essential.
- General knowledge of engineering principles and international bar shape codes.
- Capable of recognizing conflicts and discrepancies with strong attention to details.
- Good level of written and spoken English
- Candidate having experience on international project will be preferred.
- Working experience in BIM platform and ProjectWise will get preference.
- Self-motivated, team player and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Flexible attitude, in an environment with frequently changing deadlines can be relied on to meet deadlines.
