About the Company:
L&T Energy - Hydrocarbon is a leading global player in the energy sector, delivering end-to-end solutions for oil & gas, refining, petrochemical, and power industries. We are looking to hire an experienced Equipment Manager/Lead to support our dynamic team working on critical projects across Saudi Arabia and India.

Key Responsibilities:

• Constructability Study & Planning:
• Conduct constructability studies for heavy crane movement, erection of equipment, structures, and piping modules, considering construction hold & sequencing for underground facilities, civil structures, and equipment erection.

• Resource Planning & Scheduling:
• Plan resources (machinery, manpower) for entire equipment works, ensuring timely delivery of project milestones.
• Develop and manage weekly and monthly plans related to equipment works.

• Erection & Installation:
• Prepare and implement detailed erection schemes for static and rotary equipment installations.
• Develop method statements and job safety analysis for equipment installations, including critical lifts, column internals, and packages.

• Execution of Equipment Erection:
• Oversee the execution of static equipment erection (e.g., exchangers, columns, vessels, filters, column internals), ensuring proper alignment and grouting.
• Lead rotary equipment erection, alignment, and pre-commissioning activities (e.g., pumps, blowers, compressors, EOT cranes).

• Package Management:
• Coordinate the installation of various packages such as flue gas units, CLO, LPG treatment, air fin coolers, waste heat boilers, and cycle water packages.
• Ensure mechanical clearance and readiness for commissioning.

• Final Alignment & Mechanical Completion:
• Supervise the final alignment of rotary equipment post-piping loop hydrotest and flushing.
• Handle punch point liquidation and raise Format-III for mechanical completion.

• Sub-contractor & Client Coordination:
• Manage subcontractor billing, job scheduling, and client billing for static, rotary, and package installations.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Experience: Minimum 10-12 years of experience in equipment erection, including at least 3-4 years in a leadership role managing equipment teams.
• Industry Expertise: In-depth experience in hydrocarbon, oil & gas, or petrochemical sectors, with a strong focus on heavy equipment erection, static/rotary equipment installation, and commissioning.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of erection schemes, method statements, safety analysis, and project scheduling.
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead large teams, manage resources effectively, and meet project timelines.
• Geographical Flexibility: Willing to work in both Saudi Arabia and India.
