TCM Design Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION
TCM Design Engineer:
The TCM (Transport, Construction & Maintenance ) group is responsible for developing and maintaining solutions (Processes, Tools,
and Support documents) for Transport, Installation and Service of Heavy Industrial Products
Responsibilities:
†Understand TCM business - requirements, design, verification, inspection, maintenance, and operation of our solutions.
†Design TCM solutions - Full design lifecycle from requirements to serial implementation
†Supervise design risks of your solutions, tools, processes, drawings, or documents.
• Contribute to cost reduction and improve quality through standardization, modularization, and process efficiency improvements.
• Ensure cross functional collaboration with relevant interface owners throughout the value chain.
Competencies:
• Hands on experience in Product design methodologies (DFMEA/PFMEA)
• Hands on experience in Process Mapping, Risk Assessment, Requirement & Design specification documents such as DVPr, DVRe
• Basic knowledge of Structural design analysis
• Knowledge on FEA (Preferably ANSYS) is beneficial.
• Expert in Sheetmetal components, structural weldment design and detailing, Material selection and Tolerance stack up analysis.
• Good understanding of Design for Manufacturing/ Assembly/ Service concepts
• Good in GD&T, Welding, ISO standards of Materials, Grades & Tolerances
• Efficiently communicate with the Tech Lead, Project Managers & all other stake holders
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in Engineering Process relevant to NPD, TCM services
• Engineering Change Management (ECM), CAD (CREO) & PDM (PDM Link)
