Technical Illustrator

Required:

1. BE in Mechanical/Automobile

2. 2-4 years experience in creation of Technical illustration

3. Must have hands on experience in illustration tools such as Isodraw, Adobe Photoshop, Creo- View AutoCAD, Windchill, Adobe Illustrator,

4. Self-motivated, Strong Organizational Skills, Learning Oriented

5. Strong Product Knowledge and Company systems knowledge will be very helpful

Role & responsibilities

• Create technical illustrations according to the customer specific technical standards.
• Create, revise and maintain illustrations for use in Engine spare parts catalogues, assembly instructions, tools catalogues, guided troubleshooting, operation manuals, maintenance manuals, etc. using Isodraw, Photoshop, Auto CAD
• Collects basic data from design and illustration tools (e.g. Creo, and Auto CAD ) processes these to form new, informative illustrations.
• Creates simple perspective views from manufacturing drawings.
• Adapts existing photos to achieve required visual statement.
• In the event of deviations from requirements, adjusts illustrations in consultation with the technical author.
• Provide technical support within the Technical Publications Department
• Follow the quality check sheets and guidelines
• Report to the illustration coordinator
