Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Engineer MEP to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the design, installation, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for construction projects. This role provides an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their technical skills in MEP engineering and contribute to the successful delivery of building projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, installation, and commissioning of MEP systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection) for residential, commercial, or industrial construction projects.
• Oversee the coordination and integration of MEP systems with other building systems and structural components to ensure smooth operation and efficiency.
• Prepare and review technical documentation, including design calculations, drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for MEP systems.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers, contractors, and project teams during the design and construction phases.
• Conduct site inspections and quality assurance checks to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage and monitor the performance of MEP systems throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring optimal efficiency and functionality.
• Review and approve material and equipment submittals, ensuring they meet the required project specifications and standards.
• Supervise the preparation and review of project schedules, ensuring timely completion of MEP systems within budget and project timelines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to MEP systems, ensuring minimal disruption to the project schedule.
• Ensure compliance with relevant local and international standards, building codes, and environmental regulations.
• Prepare and review project reports, progress updates, and presentations for senior management and clients.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in MEP engineering.
• Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing MEP systems in large-scale construction projects.
• In-depth knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations related to MEP systems.
• Proficiency in MEP design software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools.
• Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to manage teams and collaborate across multiple disciplines.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and technical expertise in MEP systems design and troubleshooting.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, project teams, and stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with sustainable and energy-efficient MEP solutions is a plus.
