Job Description:

Lakshmi Infratech India Pvt Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor (Sr. QS) to manage the cost and contract aspects of high-rise residential and commercial building projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in quantity estimation, cost management, and project coordination, ensuring optimal resource utilization and financial efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cost Estimation and Budgeting: Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for projects.
• Tendering and Contracts: Prepare BOQs, tender documents, and analyze contractor bids.
• Measurement and Valuation: Conduct quantity take-offs and manage valuation for payments and claims.
• Cost Control: Monitor and manage project costs to ensure adherence to budgets.
• Procurement: Oversee procurement of materials and subcontractor services.
• Project Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to maintain smooth project progress.
• Risk Management: Identify cost risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Reporting: Prepare periodic cost and progress reports for stakeholders.
• Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with relevant legal, contractual, and safety requirements.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in quantity surveying, with at least 5 years in high-rise building projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and QS software like CostX or PlanSwift.
• Strong knowledge of local building codes, contracts (such as FIDIC), and construction practices.
• Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with residential and commercial high-rise projects.
• Certification in RICS or equivalent will be an added advantage.
