Senior Network Wireless Engineer (Contract)

Experience

• 12 to 15 years of experience in Network Design, implementations, and operation support for UK/Europe/US based accounts. Good experience in handling Network Juniper Switching and Wireless implementation & migrations.

Duration: 6 Months to 12 Months to Extend

Technical Skills

• Deep experience with large scale managed Wireless LAN deployments
• Should have good understanding and able to manage Juniper MIST platform
• Optimally communicate with third parties such as partners and customers regarding technical issues and customer service inquiries, both orally and in writing.
• Diagnose and tackle wireless, security, switching, and other various network-related issues reported by customers and partners.
• Plan and deploy wireless networks (Wi-Fi) using industry-standard solutions, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
• Own each customer case from initial creation to resolution.
• Collaborate with other support team members to fix network outages, misconfigurations, and sophisticated networking issues on customers' devices.
• Read and analyze packet collects using Wireshark.
• Work with engineering and management to diagnose and resolve critical, escalated issues.
• Use acquired knowledge to suggest, edit, and write in-depth Knowledge Base articles.
• Good understanding and hands on experience in all data center technologies such as VDC, VPC, MEC, VSS, STP
• Execute all phases of network project implementation, from planning to deployment.
• Utilize your expertise in Cisco ACI to design, configure, and optimize network infrastructure.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver projects within established timelines and budgets.
• Provide technical guidance and support during project lifecycles.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in network delivery
• Hands on in Stretched Data center architecture and related concepts
• Should have good technical competence to suggest IOS and NX-OS suitable to Infrastructure
• Should have good knowledge in WAN optimizers such as Riverbed Steelhead
• Good understanding and Hands on Cisco ACS 5.6, Cisco LMS 4.2.5, Cisco Prime Infrastructure 2.2
• Good knowledge and understanding of Network monitoring tools (Solarwinds, CA Spectrum and Net cool)
• Should have good understanding and able to manage Juniper MIST platform
• Strong working knowledge in switching and routing domains: STP, VLAN, 802.1x, IPv6, LACP, Stacking, VRF, PBR, GRE, HSRP, secured VTI, OSPF, ISIS, BGP(iBGP, eBGP, MP-BGP), NAT, IPSec, ACL;
• Hands on experience in Juniper EX\QFX\SRX,MX, Switches Appliance.

Qualifications (Either one of them)

• CCNP Wireless or Equivalent Juniper Certification

Other Skillset

• Ability to work with 3rd party vendors, OEMs and Product suppliers.
• Knowledge on Contracts and SLAs.
• Good knowledge in ITIL process and Agile
• Experience in handling of Network high priority incidents.
