About the Company:
A Series A-funded, technology-driven Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) brand. The company operates a vertically integrated supply chain, ensuring high-quality, farm-fresh products delivered to consumers.
Role Overview:
- Looking for an experienced and strategic leader to drive business growth, optimize revenue, and spearhead expansion into new markets.
- The Strategy Head will play a critical role in increasing Average Order Value (AOV), boosting customer acquisition and retention, and executing city expansion strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Revenue Growth & Customer Strategy:
- Develop and execute strategies to enhance AOV through product bundling, subscription models, and targeted promotions.
- Identify and implement pricing and upselling tactics to maximize revenue per customer.
- Design loyalty programs, referral mechanisms, and retention strategies to improve LTV.
Customer Acquisition & Market Expansion:
- Formulate growth strategies for expanding into new cities, identifying high-potential markets, and establishing strong distribution networks.
- Lead digital and offline customer acquisition initiatives, optimizing marketing spend across performance marketing, influencer collaborations, and brand-building efforts.
- Explore strategic partnerships with local retailers, modern trade, and food tech platforms to enhance distribution.
Operational & Data-Driven Decision Making:
- Utilize data analytics to refine customer segmentation, identify behavioural trends, and personalize offerings.
- Collaborate with product, operations, and marketing teams to optimize the user journey from acquisition to retention.
- Evaluate new revenue streams, including potential expansion into adjacent product categories.
Strategic Leadership & Vision:
- Define and drive the company's long-term strategic roadmap, aligning business objectives with market opportunities and operational capabilities.
- Act as a thought leader, identifying emerging industry trends, competitive dynamics, and disruptive opportunities to position the company for sustainable growth.
- Collaborate closely with the leadership team to translate high-level goals into actionable initiatives that drive measurable impact.
- Establish frameworks for data-driven decision-making, ensuring that key business strategies are backed by insights and analytics.
- Build and lead a high-performing strategy team, fostering a culture of innovation, agility, and results-driven execution.
Mandatory Requirements:
- You should have at least 5+ years of experience from Top B schools only (IIM's/ISB equivalent)
- You should have experience of consulting from top consulting organizations only, ideally MBB
