Job Overview:
The Online Nurse Training Program Manager will oversee the development, implementation, and management of a comprehensive web-based nurse training program for the Indian Health Service (IHS). Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in nursing, Healthcare Administration, Education, or a related field. Master s degree preferred.
- Certification in Project Management (PMP) or similar certification is desirable.
- Proven experience in developing and managing online training programs, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and web-based education delivery.
- Familiarity with accreditation and certification processes for nursing education.
- Develop and manage an interactive web-based distance learning management system (LMS) that meets national certification and recertification requirements.
- Coordinate the logistics of accredited training courses that meet competency-based standards of accrediting/certifying organizations.
- Provide comprehensive training packages for APRNs, RNs, LPNs, and CNAs with unlimited usage.
- Ensure the LMS can handle the addition and deletion of courses, pre-test capabilities, post-test assessments, and the ability to print certificates of completion.
- Develop custom educational modules using subject matter experts.
