Role and Title:
- Private Wealth Managers reporting to Director or Managing Director.
- The Job title would be Manager / Assistant Vice President / Vice President depending on the seniority of the candidate.
- The Candidate should be an MBA / CA / CFA with good knowledge of capital markets as well as client handling.
- Experience ranging from 5 to 12 years or more.
- Salary would not be a constraint for the right candidate.
- Preferably, should have handled similar profile in a Bank or another Wealth Management firm.

- The candidate should be smart, outgoing with a pleasing personality.
- Excellent oratorial and presentation skills.
- Adept at Word, Excel and Power point.
- Passionate about Investing in general.
- Should have high clarity over various financial concepts and terminologies pertaining to capital markets and products like Equity, Mutual Funds, Debt securities, AIF, Structured products, etc.
- Good market knowledge to successfully manage clients and ensure satisfaction.
- Awareness of various micro and macro-economic trends and events taking place both in India and globally.
Role and Responsibilities:
Sourcing of New Clients:
- Aim on exploring one's existing client base including natural market to set up a good foundation for the career ahead.
- Prospect new client relationships by engaging in multiple activities like referrals, social networking, utilizing social platforms, attending conferences, and even cold calling high quality databases.
- Maintaining a log of client concerns or feedback and evaluate them for better success rates.
- Aim to build new AUM as well as expand & deepen existing relationships to enhance the overall AUM.
- Achieve budgeted targets in terms of number of clients / volume of business & assets.
Managing relationships:
- Undertake complete portfolio analysis for HNI, Ultra HNI and corporate clients.
- Cross-sell products and services to both new as well as existing clients as per their lifestyle needs, risk requirements while keeping in mind their overall financial objectives.
- Understand clients' needs & requirements and accordingly position products & services.
- Recommend strategies that clients can use to achieve their financial objectives, including specific recommendations in such areas as cash management, setting up of trusts, formulating of Wills, Tax issues, besides just investment planning to ensure that you are positioned as the client's primary consultant.
- Call clients periodically to review their investment needs and to determine whether market changes, life situations, economic trends, or financial performance indicate a need for portfolio reassessment.
- Provide various Investment performance reports and summaries to the clients.
Research and Analytics:
- Research, investigate and regularly update the team regarding available investment opportunities/financial market trends to determine whether they fit into client portfolios.
- Analyze each client portfolio on an ongoing basis to ensure that the overall Asset
- Allocation is in line with long term objectives; Assess the needs for Asset Rebalancing;
- Identify laggards in the portfolio and analyze if such underperformance is temporary or if it needs a portfolio action.
- Coordinate with product and research team to suggest effective investment ideas to the clients.
Ensure ongoing self-development:
- Keep yourself updated with latest market information, prevailing Economic Trends, Industry news, Product level developments, Competitor products etc. Your aim should always be to become the best version of yourself and a Wealth Manager par excellence.
