Solution Architect - .Net (10-15 yrs)

Job Overview :

We are seeking an experienced .NET Solution Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable, high-performance solutions. As part of our dynamic team, you will work closely with development teams, stakeholders, and business leaders to ensure that our solutions meet both technical and business needs. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, leadership abilities, and experience in designing cloud-based and enterprise-level systems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Solution Design : Lead the design and architecture of scalable, secure, and resilient software solutions using .NET technologies (ASP.NET Core, C#, Web API, etc.).

- Cloud Architecture : Work with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) to design cloud-native architectures that support enterprise-level applications.

- Architecture Best Practices : Provide guidance on architectural patterns such as microservices, monolithic systems, distributed systems, and event-driven architectures.

- Collaboration : Work with business analysts, product managers, and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.

- Scalability & Security : Design solutions with an emphasis on scalability, security, and high availability while following best practices in data protection, authentication, and authorization.

- DevOps & Automation : Implement DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and use of automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes).

- Technical Leadership : Lead and mentor development teams, ensuring adherence to coding standards, architectural guidelines, and best practices.

- Documentation : Produce clear technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, system specifications, and guidelines for developers.

- Innovation : Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in cloud computing, microservices, and software architecture, applying them to improve solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Educational Background : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

- Experience : 10+ years of experience in software development, systems design, or solution architecture, with at least 3-5 years in a solution architect role.

- Cloud Expertise : Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and cloud-native architectures.

- Architecture Knowledge : Strong understanding of system architecture, including microservices, monolithic systems, distributed systems, and event-driven architectures.

- Technology Stack : Proficiency in .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET Core), APIs, RESTful services, SOAP, SQL/NoSQL databases, and data pipelines.

- DevOps & Automation : Practical experience with CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and automation tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.

- Programming Languages : Experience with programming languages such as Python, C#, and JavaScript, as well as frameworks like Angular or React.

- Design Patterns : Familiarity with architectural patterns (MVC, layered architecture, serverless) and best practices.

- Security Principles : In-depth understanding of encryption, authentication, authorization, and data protection best practices.

- Problem-Solving : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate potential challenges and design solutions.

- Leadership : Excellent leadership, decision-making, and communication skills, with the ability to drive architectural decisions and collaborate with teams effectively.

- Documentation : Ability to create and maintain detailed technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and system specifications.

- Domain Expertise : Experience in the travel and transportation domain is a plus.

Preferred Skills :

- Certifications in Microsoft Azure or AWS Solutions Architect.

- Knowledge of agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.

- Experience with serverless architectures and cloud-native application design.
