Solution Architect/Technical Manager - .Net Development (8-14 yrs)

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solution Architect/.NET Technical Manager to lead the design and development of our .NET-based solutions. This role blends technical expertise with leadership capabilities, demanding a deep understanding of .NET technologies, architectural best practices, and the ability to manage and mentor a development team. This role requires a hands-on approach, balancing strategic architectural vision with practical development guidance.

Responsibilities :

- Solution Architecture : Design and architect robust, scalable, and maintainable solutions using .NET technologies, considering factors like performance, security, and maintainability.

- Technical Leadership : Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the development team, fostering a culture of learning and growth.

- Development Management : Manage and mentor a team of .NET developers, overseeing their work, conducting performance reviews, and ensuring code quality through code reviews and best practice enforcement.

- Requirements Analysis : Collaborate with stakeholders, including business analysts and product owners, to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into technical specifications.

- Technology Selection : Research, evaluate, and recommend appropriate technologies, frameworks, and tools for projects, considering factors like cost, performance, and maintainability.

- Hands-on Development : Contribute to coding and development efforts, especially for complex or critical components, serving as a technical role model for the team.

- Code Reviews : Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to standards, and knowledge sharing within the team.

- Performance Optimization : Proactively identify and address performance bottlenecks in applications, using profiling tools and optimization techniques.

- Deployment and Maintenance : Oversee the deployment and maintenance of applications, working closely with DevOps teams.

- Troubleshooting : Lead troubleshooting efforts, resolving complex technical issues and providing guidance to the team.

- Documentation : Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design specifications, and API documentation.

- Project Management : Contribute to project planning, estimation, and execution, working closely with project managers.

- Mentoring : Mentor and coach junior developers, helping them develop their technical skills and grow their careers.

- Staying Current : Maintain a deep understanding of the latest .NET technologies, trends, and best practices.

Required Skills :

- .NET Framework/Core : Extensive and demonstrable experience with .NET Framework and .NET Core, including a deep understanding of their respective strengths and weaknesses.

- C# : Expert-level proficiency in C# programming language, including advanced concepts like asynchronous programming, generics, and reflection.

- ASP.NET : Significant experience building web applications and APIs using ASP.NET (MVC, Web API, Razor Pages).

- Architecture and Design : Deep understanding of architectural patterns (e.g., DDD, CQRS, Microservices) and design principles (SOLID).

- Database Experience : Strong experience with SQL Server (or other relational databases), including database design, query optimization, and stored procedure development.

- Web Services/APIs : Expertise in developing and consuming web services and APIs (RESTful, gRPC, GraphQL).

- Team Leadership : Proven ability to lead, manage, and mentor a development team, including experience with performance reviews and career development.

- Communication : Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
