Lab Technician

The primary areas of responsibility within the lab would be receiving the samples from front office segregate the samples preparation of work order in Path Online.
Segregation of samples according to departments and registration of samples in Path online after verification of sample acceptance criteria.
Proper discarding of archived samples from cold room after completion of retention period and updating in Sample discard logs.
Updating of Sample rejection log in the Accession department.
Monitoring of temperature during sample receipt in Accession department
Daily cleaning of Sample lift and Maintenance of Sample Lift.
Updating of Accident and incidents log as and when required.
Maintaining Personnel safety and proper Ergonomics in the laboratory.
Check thoroughly the temperature conditions received on TRF.
Maintain proper biosafety measures in accession.
Compilation of Quality indicators data applicable to accession and submission to QAD for review.
Check pre analytical process in Accession as per the prescribed Standard Test Procedures (STP)
Filing of patient TRFs and clinical histories and submitting to archives on monthly basis.
Ensure strict adherence to the designated Quality System procedures and STPs.

Phlebotomist Job Description
We are looking for a Phlebotomist who will be responsible for drawing blood from patients for diagnostic, donation, or transfusion purposes. They may test the blood specimens themselves or they will be responsible for labelling the specimen vials and arranging transportation of specimens to laboratories for analysis.

In order to be successful as a Phlebotomist you will need to be thorough when carrying out your duties, successfully maintain records of blood drawings, and generate reports to submit to physicians and/or other healthcare professionals.
