Network Engineer L2

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure using Checkpoint firewalls, SDWAN solutions, routing protocols (OSPF), and switching technologies (VLANs).
  
• Ensure secure connectivity by configuring access controls on firewalls and implementing wireless networks with WPA encryption.
  
• Troubleshoot complex network issues related to firewall configuration, routing problems, and SDWAN connectivity.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and design scalable network architectures that meet those needs.
  
• Provide technical guidance to junior team members on best practices for network implementation and maintenance.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 4-9 years of experience in networking field with expertise in Checkpoint Firewall & SDWAN technology.
  
• Experience with wireless networks (WPA encryption) and firewall configuration management.
  
• Strong understanding of routing protocols (OSPF) and switching technologies (VLANs).
  
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team environment; strong communication skills required.
