Job Description: Graphic Designer
Position Overview :
We are seeking a skilled and creative Graphic Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong design sensibility, a passion for creating impactful visuals, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. This role involves crafting designs that reinforce the brand's style and voice while addressing the needs of e-commerce and digital marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Design Development :
- Create original designs that reinforce the brand's style and voice across various visual touchpoints.
- Design web catalogs, campaign logos, themes, banners, mnemonics/icons, and infographics.
- Develop creative work that implements business strategies effectively.
2. Collaboration & Communication :
- Collaborate with UX designers to create meaningful artifacts for communication.
- Synthesize and incorporate feedback from cross-functional teams, including product, UX, and marketing.
3. E-Commerce & Digital Design :
- Produce graphic designs for e-commerce platforms, including store pages, in-app content, emails, social media, ads, promotional support, and trade presentations.
- Drive best practices for an efficient post-production graphics pipeline/workflow, especially for e-commerce flatlays or time-sensitive campaigns.
4. Process & Standards :
- Follow the design process, presenting concepts in grayscale, low fidelity, high fidelity, and working prototypes with clear and professional outputs.
- Organize and maintain a scalable design library using Figma and other tools.
5. Trend Awareness :
- Stay updated on digital marketing, e-commerce trends, and social media platforms to create relevant content.
Desired Skills & Qualifications :
Experience :
- 5+ years of experience as a Visual Designer, Art Director, or similar creative role.
- Proven ability in graphic design, typography, iconography, photo editing, and illustration.
Education :
- A degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field, or equivalent experience within a design domain.
Technical Skills :
- Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Knowledge of UI, typography, image, and design standards for web.
- Familiarity with digital content production, including post-production editing.
Portfolio :
- An accessible online portfolio demonstrating user-centered visual design, including iconography and graphic logos.
Digital & Social Expertise :
- Knowledge of e-commerce and digital marketing best practices.
- Familiarity with motion design for web and social media platforms.
- Fluency in contemporary social media trends and technologies.
Key Competencies :
- Creativity and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to synthesize feedback and refine designs efficiently.
- Team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
