Job Description:

L3Harris TCOM seeks a Field Service Representative in Germany, dedicated to the maintenance and support of tactical communications equipment. This role is crucial for ensuring the operational integrity and performance of our products, with a focus on technical support, engineering activities, and quality management to meet business objectives. The Field Service Representative will collaborate closely with program management and systems engineering teams to identify issues and implement solutions, analyze performance data for continuous improvement, and drive cost efficiencies. Commitment to the e3 (excellence, everywhere, everyday) standard is essential for maintaining product quality and enhancing customer engagement. Responsibilities include detailed documentation of maintenance actions, effective daily communication, timely reporting of equipment status, and management of component requisitions to support operations and program management.

Essential Functions:

• Ability to live in Kempen, Germany and travel to customer sites within Germany
• Experience in type-1 radio repair
• Experience in handling CCI items
• Experience working with Germany MoD
• Ability to monitor and control spares and inventory
• Ability to travel to other European countries 10% of the time
• Conduct engaging training sessions that include lectures, hands-on laboratory work, and field exercises.
• Facilitate training courses at various customer sites.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop communication systems that meet the evolving needs of our customers.
• Gather and incorporate customer feedback and insights from internal partners to refine and expand the program.
• Work closely with publication writers to create and test courseware, ensuring usability and clarity of product manuals and other documentation.
• Present content tailored for a variety of audiences.
• Ability to obtain US Secret Security Clearance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant Radio repair experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related Radio Repair experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related Radio Repair experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Knowledge of L3Harris/RF Communications (AN/PRC-117G, AN/PRC-163, AN/PRC-160, RF-410D, AN/PRC-167) and VSAT terminal products
• RF/Radio or related communications experience preferred.
• Experience running Factory Test Stations.
• Knowledge of Product Service database (Oracle EBS)
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Willingness to work and learn in fast paced production environment.
• Strong data analysis and analytical skills - Minitab and Microsoft Windows (Excel, Word, Power Point, Access)
• International travel/experience
• Knowledge of network systems administration, wireless networking, and IT support, including networking router technologies
• Foreign language skills, fluent in German
