Engineer II-App Development

What youll be doing...

In this role you will be responsible for developing Android software applications for new and ongoing consumer products (eg Verizon Family). These efforts will be aimed at providing best in class user satisfaction while using the applications.

• Developing and testing consumer product applications on Android and related platforms.
• Developing a secure, optimized and robust code which are non-vulnerable.
• Analyzing user requirements and develop concepts for new applications.
• Coordinating with senior developers in determining overall system solutions.
• Applying object-oriented techniques and Agile methodologies.
• Authoring technical documentation as needed and supporting QA team in developing test plans.

Youll need to have:

• Bachelor's degree or two or more years of work experience.
• Two or more years of relevant work experience.
• Application design and development experience in Android using Java and Kotlin.
• Working experience with Kotlin, Java, Android Studio, etc.
• Working experience with concepts like KMM (Kotlin Multiplatform), Compose and other latest advancements in field of Android development.
• Usage of source version control products such as Git.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• Outstanding communication and analytical skills.
• Understanding of multi-threaded software development, networking technology for telecommunications and data communications.
• Understanding of information security, database systems.
