Asst. Manager/Sr. Design Engineer

Primary:

1. Work as an individual contributor as well as guide the team members
2. Contribute to design and development of mechanical and structural components and systems.
3. Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and client specifications
4. Conduct detailed analysis and simulations to validate design integrity and performance
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality assurance, project management and through-life support.
6. Coordinate among different departments and/or internal/external laboratories to perform experimental work.
7. Perform literature or web survey, read and understand literatures and various standards to address design / R&D requirement
8. Prepare, review and approve design documents, and specifications.
9. Preparing drawings with an understanding of manufacturing process and releasing the drawings in PLM. Resolving Design Changes and Non Conformity
10. Willing to travel to any place across India to visit vendor / customer / test facility

Secondary:

1. Prior experience of working with PLM.
2. A wareness of CMMI Level V for design and developmental project is preferred
3. Identify and develop skill sets required for ongoing / future design projects.

AREAS OF EXPOSURE/ WORK BACKGROUND:

Desired Design and analysis of Structure, Machine Design, Strength of Materials, Theory of Machines, CAD (UG NX), System Integration, Hydraulics and Pneumatics, FEA Fundamentals, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances, Basic Manufacturing Process (Steel Machining and Welding)

Preferred Systems Engineering, Multi-Body Dynamics (MBD) Simulation using Adams / Excel / MotionSolve, PLM, Basic Electrical, FEA using Hypermesh and Ansys Mechanical
