The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Additionally, the role will involve handling revenue recognition schedules, accounting software for effective financial management. Duties and Responsibilities:
Financial Transactions: Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in recording financial data.
General Ledger: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including bank reconciliations and credit card statements.
Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Month-end and Year-end Closing: Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring all financial transactions are appropriately recorded.
Revenue Recognition : Maintain accurate revenue recognition schedules and subscription schedules according to ASC-606
Expense Management: Monitor and analyze expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities and recommending improvements.
Vendor and Customer Management: Maintain relationships with vendors and customers accounts team and manage accounts receivable and payable effectively.
Financial Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and procedures, as well as external regulatory requirements.
Payroll Processing: Process payroll and related tasks accurately and on time.
Demonstrate a keen sense of curiosity and foster a culture of innovation within the finance team.
At least 3 years of proven experience as a Sr. Accountant for a software company
CA Inters/Article complete preferred or have worked in CA firms preferred.
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
